Minority Outreach Programs Overview | Summer Internships | Faculty Sabbaticals
CSBi offers a 10-week summer internship at MIT for undergraduate students at the end of their junior year of study. The junior year is a particularly critical time for students who are considering medical and graduate school. This program is designed for students from disadvantaged backgrounds such as under-represented minorities or first-generation college attendees. They will conduct supervised research in the labs of the CSBi Technology Platform. The program will be research-focused and modeled on the successful MIT Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).
Students are selected based on faculty recommendations, major, grades and a personal statement of interest. Due to Federal funding requirements, internships may only be offered to students with US Citizenship or proof of permanent residency.
We begin screening completed applications in late January for six (6) Summer Internships.
